Teddy Roosevelt Assignment

  1. Begin with researching topics  of his early youth, his days out in the West, his early
    political/military career and his presidency that you find interesting.
  2. Write out an outline before you begin your initial draft of the paper.
  3. Use questions from this link to offer you more information on Roosevelt. You don't have to
    respond to each of the 47 questions, but you should look up as many as possible to give you more
    information for your paper.
  4. Submit a "polished" typed minimum two page paper with 11 Roman Numeral font and one inch
    margins. Be sure that if you quote the text book, film,lecture notes, handouts or website that
    you cite these references at the end of your paper.
  5. The paper should examine T.R.'s strengths, weaknesses, as well as his importance as our 26th
    President. Read and use the questions from the handout as well as your notes on the film to assist
    you in drafting an intelligent essay that you would be proud of.
  6. This assignment will be graded as if it were a test; NOT A HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT!
  7. DUE NO LATER THAN FRIDAY March 14.
